The DISC applications that DNA provide in Ireland are used worldwide and extensively in Ireland. We have applied Everything DiSC training in dozens of human development, interpersonal skills and coaching applications, including solving complex business problems covering change, organisational & management development, and performance improvement.
The actual DiSC model itself provides a non-judgmental language for individuals, managers & teams to explore human behaviour in the workplace and beyond, across four primary dimensions that can be grounded in the interactions that people experience with style day to day. Those are:
D. Dominance: Direct and Decisive. D’s are strong-willed, strong-minded people who like accepting challenges, taking action, and to get immediate results.
i. Influence: Optimistic and Outgoing. I’s are “people people” who like participating on teams, sharing ideas, and energising and entertaining others.
S. Steadiness: Sympathetic and Cooperative. S’s are helpful people who like working behind the scenes, performing in consistent and predictable ways, being good listeners.
C. Conscientiousness: Concerned and Correct. C’s are sticklers for quality, like planning ahead, employing systematic approaches, and checking and re-checking for accuracy.
